Hi, I’m Mila
I spent seven years working night shifts in an intensive care unit in Hamburg. I was good at my job. I was also, quietly, running on empty.
In 2019 I packed one bag and left — not for a vacation, just for a while. That “while” never really ended. Since then I’ve slept in more countries than I can count on two hands, and I’ve learned that the best days are usually the ones with no plan at all.
This blog isn’t a highlight reel. It’s where I write down the places that stayed with me — the quiet beaches, the wrong turns that became my favorite streets, the mornings I almost went home. I’m still figuring most of it out. You’re welcome to figure it out with me.
Coffee: black, always. Next stop: undecided.
Little Moments That Inspire
Sometimes the quiet moments say the most. This blog is simply a collection of the things that make my everyday life feel a little softer, calmer, and more meaningful. I love capturing the small details, whether it’s a cozy corner at home, a quick weekend escape, or a recipe that instantly becomes a favorite. These are the snippets of my life that inspire me, and I hope they bring a little inspiration to your days too.
